agrees to buy Carpenter Moore, whose western district business
was already bought by Woodruff-Sawyer. Aon will collaborate on

Acquires Oswald Trippe and Co., a full-service agency
in Florida. Offices in North Carolina weren’t included in

Buys majority stake in Reinsurance.com.ar, a specialist
reinsurance brokerage in Miami focusing on treaty and
facultative business mainly in Argentina. Guillermo Pastore
Appoints Joe Vineis as principal in San Francisco
office. He moves from Willis HRH, now Willis North America.

Reorganizes governance structure. Chairman and CEO
James Crystal will head a new executive committee that will
manage the firm’s operations and guide long-term
strategy. Members of the committee: Jamie Crystal, Jonathan H.
F. Crystal, Sandy Crystal, Edward Kiessling, John Smith, and
Rick Strater. Mark Freitas has left the brokerage as president
and COO, a position which has been eliminated.
Agrees to buy London-based reinsurance brokerage
Rattner Mackenzie from HCC Insurance Holdings. It specializes
in accident and health, aviation, trade credit and p-c
insurance and reinsurance and places HCC’s reinsurance
programs in the London market.
Hires Susan Espinoza as president of risk management
services division in Phoenix. She moves from Willis.
